Continuing Education - Michigan

Special Program April 10th and 11th, 2008 You Cannot Miss.

Licensed Nursing Home Administrators in every state are obligated to complete a certain number of continuing education hours before license renewal every year or every other year. 

State Mandate:
“The Michigan Public Health Code and board administrative rules require every Nursing Home Administrator to complete, during the 2-year period prior to the expiration date of the license, not less than 36 hours of continuing education in courses or programs approved by the Board. Pursuant to this requirement, the Board of Nursing Home Administration has promulgated rules to establish specific criteria for the Board’s approval of continuing education courses and programs.”

Continuing Education Sessions for Nursing Home Administrators

The following sessions are being submitted for approval to the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators and Michigan Department of Community Health Not later than January 15th, 2008 requesting approval of 16 hours total for Nursing Home Administrators in Michigan.
